This active ingredient is obtained from the up cycling of organic mandarin peels, grown exclusively on the Greek island of Chios, which are used in the distillation process of the production of organic perfumes.
To obtain this active ingredient, only organic mandarins from Chios are used, harvested by hand in a careful and sustainable way. In the small traditional distillery, both the juice and the peel of the fruit are used for the delicate distillation process of organic fragrance
production.
The waste from these processes for the fragrance industry is the part of the peel, from which this soothing active ingredient rich in antioxidants is extracted through a delicate water-based extraction process.
In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that this up cycling phyto extract:
